Ten nights, two very different places, one flight home. You spend three nights in Dubai and seven on a Maldivian island, all inclusive, with the return flights from London and the island transfer already in the price. It starts at £1,799 per person based on two sharing.
The practical answer is the journey. London to Malé direct is a shade under eleven hours, and you land needing a day to recover from it — which is a day of your honeymoon gone. Dubai sits roughly seven hours out, so stopping there cuts the long leg in half. You unpack once, sleep properly, and the onward hop to Malé is four and a half hours.
The other answer is contrast. Seven nights on a small island is restorative; ten can start to feel long if you are the sort of couple who likes something to do. Three nights of a city first means you arrive on the island ready to stop, rather than restless by day five.
Dubai is deliberately room only in this package. You are three nights in a city with one of the better restaurant scenes in the region — tying yourself to a hotel buffet would be a waste of it.
Dubai airport transfers are an optional extra rather than an oversight — taxis from the airport to Downtown are inexpensive and plentiful, and plenty of couples prefer to sort it themselves. We will add a private transfer if you would rather not think about it.
Resort fees and local government taxes are paid at the hotel in both destinations. That is standard across the region and not something any UK operator can absorb into the package price.
£1,799 per person is the lead-in, and it is a real price rather than a headline: it is available in October 2026 and again in May 2027. The monthly table on this page shows every month we currently hold pricing for, from September 2026 through to September 2027.
The spread is wider than people expect. December runs to £2,609 per person because it takes in Christmas and New Year, when Maldivian resorts apply their heaviest supplements and minimum-stay rules. January and February stay high through the northern-hemisphere winter. From March the price steps down month by month until it bottoms out in May.
If your dates are flexible, moving a fortnight either side of a school holiday is usually worth more than anything else you can change.
November to April is the sweet spot for both destinations at once. The Maldives is in its dry season, and Dubai is warm rather than the 40°C it reaches in high summer. It is also, unsurprisingly, when the package costs the most.
October and May are the value months here, and the trade is an honest one. The Maldives sits at the edge of its wet season in both, which in practice means short heavy showers rather than washed-out days, and Dubai is hot. If a few hundred pounds each matters more to you than a guaranteed dry fortnight, they are the months to look at.
July and August are bearable on the island but genuinely uncomfortable in Dubai — if you can only travel then, we would usually suggest a different city for the first leg.
Rove Downtown Dubai or similar. A modern 4★ a short walk from the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, which is the reason to stay there. Rooms are compact and well designed, the pool is small, and nobody books it to spend the day in the hotel. For three nights in a walkable part of the city it does the job well.
Kuramathi or similar. A large island resort in Rasdhoo Atoll with beach and overwater villas, several restaurants and a sandbank at one end that shifts through the year. The house reef is its real asset — you can snorkel it straight off the beach without booking a boat, which is not true of every Maldivian resort.
Both are quoted as “or similar” because availability moves constantly at this end of the market. If a specific property matters to you, say so at enquiry and we will price it directly rather than substituting.

Every flight-inclusive package we sell is ATOL 10713 protected, and you will receive an ATOL Certificate confirming what is covered. That is financial protection if a supplier fails — it is not travel insurance, which you still need to arrange separately and should buy as soon as you book, not before you travel.
Tell your consultant it is a honeymoon when you book. Most resorts of this standard offer something — a room upgrade if one is free, a dinner, a bottle on arrival — but it has to be flagged in advance, and some ask for a marriage certificate dated within a set window.
Land at Dubai International and make your way to the hotel. Most London flights arrive late morning or early evening, so the rest of the day is yours to unpack, sleep off the flight and eat somewhere easy. Stay: Rove Downtown Dubai or similar, room only.
A full free day. The Burj Khalifa observation deck is a ten-minute walk from Rove Downtown, and Dubai Mall and the fountain show sit at its foot. Book the deck for sunset if you only do one thing — slots go quickly and are cheaper booked ahead.
The gold and spice souks in Deira are a short abra ride across the creek and cost a few dirhams. Alternatively this is the day most couples take a desert evening — dune drive, dinner under canvas, back by ten. We can arrange either; neither is included in the package price.
A morning at leisure before your onward flight to Malé, which takes around four and a half hours. On arrival at Velana International you are met and taken to the island by speedboat or seaplane depending on the resort. Stay: Kuramathi or similar, all inclusive.
Nothing scheduled. Snorkelling gear, the house reef and the pools are all on your doorstep, and the all-inclusive terms cover meals, snacks and most drinks from here to the end of the stay.
Kuramathi and resorts like it have a reef you can swim to from the beach — rays, reef sharks and turtles are common sightings before breakfast. Guided snorkel safaris and dives run most days and are booked on the island.
Sandbank picnics, sunset dhoni cruises and dolphin trips are the ones couples come back talking about. All are optional and priced locally, so you can decide once you see the forecast.
Most resorts of this standard have an overwater spa. Book a couples treatment for late afternoon and you will get the light everyone photographs.
The island empties and refills on a weekly rhythm, so the beach you had to yourself on arrival may look different by now. Worth a last long swim before you start thinking about packing.
Transfer back to Velana International for your flight home. Seaplanes are daylight-only, so early-morning or late-evening departures are handled by speedboat — your consultant confirms the timings with your final documents.

It also means your honeymoon finishes on the island rather than in a city, which is how most couples want it to end.
Return flights from London, the onward Dubai to Malé sector, three nights in Dubai on a room-only basis, seven all-inclusive nights in the Maldives, and your speedboat or seaplane transfer to the island. ATOL 10713 protection and a named UK consultant are included throughout.
Dubai airport transfers are an optional extra, and resort fees plus local government taxes are paid at the hotel. Travel insurance, visas where required, and optional excursions are not included. Regional UK departures carry a supplement, which we confirm at enquiry.

The transfer to your island is included, by speedboat or seaplane depending on which resort you choose. Seaplanes only fly in daylight, so if your flight lands late you may overnight near Malé or travel by speedboat instead. Your consultant checks this against your actual flight times before you book.
Yes. Three and seven is the pacing most couples settle on, but four and seven, or three and ten, are both common. Extra nights, a different hotel standard and an overwater villa upgrade are all priced on request.
