What is the Dubai and Bali holiday, and what does it cost?
It is ten nights: three in Dubai and seven in Bali, both at 4★ hotels with breakfast every day. Flights route London–Dubai–Bali–London, and airport transfers are included in both places. The advertised lead-in price is £1,249pp based on two sharing, for May 2027; December 2026 is the dearest month at £1,599pp. Your exact price depends on dates, availability, room category and any options you add. It suits couples who want a modern city and a week of temples, rice terraces and beaches on one long-haul trip. Bali requires a visa on arrival for British visitors, which is not included. Every booking is ATOL protected under licence 10713.
Why stop in Dubai on the way to Bali?
Because the flights go that way anyway. The route to Bali runs through Dubai, so three nights there cost you no extra long-haul flight and cut a very long journey in two. You arrive in Bali rested, and partly adjusted to the time difference, rather than straight off back-to-back flights.
The two places also balance each other. Dubai is towers, the Burj Khalifa and Palm Jumeirah; Bali is rice terraces, temples and beach. Three nights of the first and seven of the second is a shape most couples find right: the city is a taste, the island is the holiday.
Is three nights in Dubai and seven in Bali the right split?
For most people, yes. Three nights in Dubai give two full days — one for the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, one for Palm Jumeirah or a desert evening. Seven nights in Bali is enough to see Ubud’s rice terraces and temples, Uluwatu and still have beach days.
In Bali you are based at a beach resort in Seminyak, on the south-west coast, with the beach and restaurants on your doorstep. Ubud’s rice terraces and temples are a day trip inland, and Uluwatu is on the southern cliffs. If you would rather split the week and spend some nights in Ubud, ask us to price it.
How much does the Dubai and Bali holiday cost?
The advertised lead-in price is £1,249pp based on two sharing, for May 2027. October 2026, April, June and September 2027 are £1,299pp; November 2026 is £1,349pp; March, July and August 2027 are £1,399pp; January and February 2027 are £1,449pp; and December 2026 is the dearest at £1,599pp — £350 more than May.
What the price buys: the flights, ten nights at 4★ hotels with daily breakfast, and airport transfers in both places. What sits outside it: lunches and dinners, a desert safari, Bali day trips, travel insurance, and the Indonesia visa on arrival, which British visitors need. Bali also charges international visitors a tourist levy.
When is the best time to go to Dubai and Bali?
Honestly, no month is perfect for both, because their good seasons are opposite. These are the World Meteorological Organization’s official averages — Dubai for 1974–1991, and Denpasar, Bali, for 1961–1990, supplied by Indonesia’s BMKG.
Bali is dry from April to October, with as few as four rain days a month in July and August — and that is exactly when Dubai is at its hottest, above 40°C. Dubai is most comfortable from November to March, at 24°C to 30.5°C — and that is Bali’s wet season, peaking at 27 rain days in January.
April and October are the best compromise, both at £1,299pp: Bali is in or near its dry season and Dubai is hot but manageable. May, at £1,249pp, is the value choice — Bali is dry, and Dubai, at 36.8°C, is for early mornings and evenings. If Bali matters most, favour the dry months and plan Dubai around the heat; the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall are both indoors.
Who is this holiday for — and who should look elsewhere?
It suits couples who want a long-haul trip with a city and an island; anyone who wants to break the journey to Bali rather than fly straight through; and first-time visitors to both who want a taste of Dubai before a proper week in Bali.
It is less suited to anyone who wants perfect weather in both places at once — the seasons do not allow it — or who wants meals included. If Asia appeals more than the Gulf, our Singapore and Bali twin-centre breaks the journey in Singapore instead. How does it compare with other Dubai and Bali combinations?

What are the three nights in Dubai like?
You stay at a 4★ hotel such as Rove Downtown or similar, with breakfast, and your airport transfer is included. The Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall sit side by side and make an easy first full day; book the observation deck for late afternoon if you want the city at sunset. Palm Jumeirah, the palm-shaped island off the coast, is the second day, and a desert safari is optional and paid locally. Since 2022 the UAE weekend has been Saturday and Sunday.
What are the seven nights in Bali like?
You fly on from Dubai and are transferred to a 4★ beach resort in Seminyak, or similar, with breakfast. Seminyak is the coast — the beach, sunsets and restaurants. Ubud, inland, is the day trip for the rice terraces and temples. Uluwatu, on the southern cliffs, is known for its clifftop temple and sunsets. Day trips are optional and paid locally, and your consultant can arrange them in advance.

How do you book, and how are you protected?
Tell us your dates, your departure airport, who is travelling, and your consultant will confirm a live price, the hotels and the payment schedule in writing before you commit. The package is protected under ATOL 10713, and you receive an ATOL Certificate setting out what is covered. ATOL protects the money you pay if a travel company fails; it is not travel insurance, which you should arrange separately. For more ways to combine two places, see our multi-centre holidays.
