How much does a Singapore & Bali holiday cost from the UK in 2026?
Two things drive the price of this trip more than anything else: which hotel category you pick in Singapore, and whether you take a standard room or a private pool villa in Bali. Everything else — flights, transfers, food, the levy — moves the total by hundreds of pounds. Those two decisions move it by thousands.
| Cost component | What moves the price |
|---|---|
| UK–Singapore flights | Departure airport, airline, cabin and travel dates |
| Singapore hotel | Location (Marina Bay/Orchard vs further out), star rating, room size |
| Singapore–Bali flight | Airline, baggage allowance, time of day |
| Bali accommodation | Resort vs private pool villa, area, room category |
| Transfers | Airport transfers and any inter-resort transport in Bali |
| Bali tourist levy & Indonesia visa | Fixed government charges — see below |
Timing moves the price more than most people expect. We priced 72 of our own holidays month by month in the cheapest month to book a holiday — December runs a median 22% above the same holiday’s cheapest month, November just 5%.
2026 Singapore & Bali price bands for a 10-night trip
These are planning bands built from our own 2026 package pricing, not universal market averages — treat them as a starting point for your own quote rather than a guaranteed price for every date.
| Style | 10-night guide price | What’s typically included |
|---|---|---|
| 4-star, standard room | From £1,449pp | Flights, 3 nights Singapore, 7 nights Bali, transfers |
| Private pool villa upgrade | From £1,799pp | As above, with a private-pool villa in Bali |
| Five-star throughout | From £2,399pp | Five-star Singapore hotel and five-star Bali resort |
Beyond five-star, high-end multi-bedroom villas and top-tier resorts push the total considerably higher — there’s no fixed ceiling once you’re choosing among Bali’s best private estates.
What’s the cheapest way to do Singapore and Bali?
The biggest saving rarely comes from cutting a destination — it comes from where you spend the accommodation budget.
Keep Singapore to three nights
Three nights covers Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay, Chinatown and Little India without paying Singapore’s higher room rates for longer than you need to.
Put the upgrade budget into Bali, not Singapore
Bali has a far wider spread of accommodation — from simple guesthouses to private-pool villas — at price points Singapore’s city-centre hotels can’t match. A pool villa is usually the highest-impact single upgrade on this itinerary.
Be flexible on departure dates
Airfare and hotel rates on this route move with UK school holidays and Bali’s dry season demand. Shoulder months (April, May, September, October) are worth checking against your fixed dates.
Compare the whole package, not one hotel
A Singapore hotel quote in isolation tells you nothing about the total cost. Always compare flights, both hotels and transfers together — the comparison checklist sets out what to check.
How much is a 10-night Singapore and Bali holiday?
Ten nights is the benchmark length for this route: 3 nights Singapore + 7 nights Bali. It’s the split our own Singapore & Bali twin-centre guide is built around, and the current package example starts from £1,449pp with flights, rising to £2,399pp for a five-star version.
How much is a 12 or 14-night Singapore and Bali holiday?
| Length | Split | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 12 nights | 3 Singapore + 9 Bali | More beach and villa time |
| 12 nights | 4 Singapore + 8 Bali | More city time |
| 14 nights | 3 Singapore + 3 Ubud + 8 coast | Splitting Bali between culture and beach |
There’s no fixed 12 or 14-night headline price because it depends entirely on where you add the nights — Bali extensions cost noticeably less per night than Singapore extensions, since Bali accommodation spans a much wider price range. For a longer stay, see our multi-centre holiday cost guide for how twin-centre pricing scales with trip length.
Is Singapore more expensive than Bali?
Yes, for accommodation and premium dining. Singapore’s hotel rates — especially central four- and five-star properties — run well above Bali’s equivalent tier. Bali counters this with a far wider accommodation range and consistently cheaper local food.
| Category | Singapore | Bali |
|---|---|---|
| Luxury hotels | Consistently expensive | Wide price range |
| Private pool villas | Limited and costly | Strong choice, often better value |
| Local food | A hawker-centre meal costs around £4 | Warung meals are similarly inexpensive |
| A local beer | £9–£12 | Generally cheaper |
How much does a private pool villa in Bali add to the price?
There’s no fixed supplement, because Bali’s private villa market is unusually wide — a one-bedroom villa in Canggu and a multi-bedroom clifftop estate in Uluwatu sit at opposite ends of the same category. What moves the price is location, villa size, number of bedrooms, and whether it has beach access or resort-style facilities alongside the pool. On our own packages, moving from a standard room to a private pool villa on the 10-night itinerary adds from £350pp — taking the trip from £1,449pp to £1,799pp.
Singapore and Bali honeymoon cost
The combination works well for honeymoons because it pairs a short city stay with a longer, slower luxury finish. Most couples get better value allocating the villa budget to Bali — where you’ll spend six or seven nights — rather than upgrading the three-night Singapore hotel. A common structure is 3 nights Singapore, 3 nights Ubud in a private pool villa, then 4 nights on the coast.
Singapore and Bali family holiday cost
Family pricing is driven by room count more than anything else. Two rooms at a mid-range hotel can cost more overall than one family room or interconnecting suite at a slightly higher-rated property — so compare family room and villa options before assuming two standard rooms is cheaper. Bali’s larger villas, several with two or three bedrooms around one pool, often work out better value than paying for two separate hotel rooms.
How much do flights from the UK to Singapore and Bali cost?
Most itineraries route UK → Singapore → Bali → UK rather than booking two separate return flights, which keeps the total airfare down. What moves the price: UK departure airport, airline, cabin, travel dates and baggage allowance. Compare the full routing, not a single sector fare in isolation.
Hidden costs to check before booking Singapore and Bali
The advertised package price is rarely your whole holiday budget. Check these before you compare quotes:
| Cost | What to check |
|---|---|
| Indonesia visa on arrival | 500,000 rupiah, 30 days, single entry |
| Bali tourist levy | 150,000 rupiah (about £8) per foreign visitor |
| Arrival declarations | Free — All Indonesia arrival card and Singapore’s SG Arrival Card, both online |
| Transfers | Confirm which airport and inter-resort transfers are included |
| Hotel extras | Breakfast, resort fees and minibar are often quoted separately |
Do UK citizens need a visa for Bali, and what is the tourist levy?
Yes. British citizens need a visa to enter Indonesia, including Bali. A 30-day visa on arrival for tourism currently costs 500,000 Indonesian rupiah, payable by cash or card, and is valid for a single entry — it can be extended once for a further 30 days at an immigration office in Indonesia. Separately, Bali charges all foreign tourists a 150,000 rupiah tourist levy (around £8). Travellers must also complete the free All Indonesia arrival card online within 72 hours of arrival — GOV.UK specifically warns against third-party sites that charge for this free service. Do UK citizens need a visa for Singapore?
No. British citizens can enter Singapore for tourism without a visa. The permitted stay is at the immigration officer’s discretion and is normally between 30 and 90 days. Your passport needs at least six months’ validity from your arrival date, and you must complete the free electronic SG Arrival Card in the three days before you land — GOV.UK also warns against commercial sites charging to submit this. How to compare two Singapore and Bali packages properly
Never compare two quotes on headline price alone — check each of these line by line:
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| UK flights included? | A “from” hotel-only price isn’t comparable to a flight-inclusive one |
| Cabin class | Economy vs premium economy changes the fare substantially |
| Singapore–Bali sector included? | Sometimes quoted as an “extra” rather than bundled |
| Bali accommodation type | Standard room vs private pool villa is the biggest swing factor |
| Transfers included? | Airport and inter-resort transfers add up if excluded |
| Visa and levy included? | Rarely bundled — usually payable separately on arrival |
Singapore and Bali vs the Maldives: which gives better value?
It depends on what the holiday is for. Singapore and Bali suits travellers who want city sightseeing, culture, food and beach in one trip; the Maldives suits travellers who want one uninterrupted private-island stay. Bali generally offers stronger private-villa value than the Maldives at the same price point, while the Maldives wins outright on snorkelling, diving and overwater accommodation. See our Maldives holiday cost guide for a direct budget comparison, or our Dubai and Maldives twin-centre guide if a city-plus-island format appeals but Singapore and Bali isn’t the right pairing for your dates.
Our verdict: what should you budget for Singapore and Bali?
For a first trip, plan around 10 nights: 3 in Singapore, 7 in Bali, from £1,449pp. If cost control matters most, keep Singapore at three nights and hold the Bali accommodation at a strong 4-star. If luxury matters most, put the upgrade into a Bali private pool villa before upgrading the Singapore hotel — it moves the experience further for the same spend. If you have 14 nights, put the extra time into Bali rather than extending the Singapore stay.

- Is 3 nights in Singapore and 7 in Bali enough?

- How long is the flight from Singapore to Bali, and does it add much cost?
- Around 2 hours 40 minutes, with multiple daily services from several airlines. Booked as part of a UK → Singapore → Bali → UK routing, it’s usually cheaper than pricing Singapore and Bali as two separate return trips.
- Are these prices live fares?
- No — they’re guide prices from our 2026 packages, checked 8 September 2026, not a live, bookable fare for every date. Availability and exact pricing depend on your dates, hotel choice and current airfares.
