Search Business & First Class fares
What this search is for
Premium-cabin fares, priced as a flight on its own rather than as part of a holiday. It suits people who have their accommodation sorted and need the long-haul sector, or who are pricing a business-class seat against an economy one before deciding how to travel.
What you should know before you book a flight on its own
- A flight booked on its own is not an ATOL-protected package. ATOL protection applies to flight-inclusive packages — a flight sold together with accommodation. If financial protection matters to you, ask us to price the trip as a package instead and it falls under our licence, ATOL 10713.
- Fares move, and premium cabins move fastest. The figure a search returns is available at the moment it runs. We confirm the fare in writing before anything is paid.
- Routing changes the price more than the airline does. A connection through a carrier’s own hub is often materially cheaper than the direct sector, and on some routes it is the only way to get a lie-flat seat at the price you had in mind.
- Baggage, seat selection and lounge access vary by fare, not just by cabin. Two business-class tickets on the same aircraft can carry different rules. We set out what is included before you decide.
Why book the flight through us
We hold IATA accreditation 91285611, which is what allows us to issue airline tickets directly. In practice that means a person handles the booking, changes and any disruption, rather than a form. If you would rather have the hotel and the flight on one booking, with one point of contact and ATOL protection, say so and we will price it that way.
Flights, or a package?
- Which works out cheaper?
- It depends on the destination. On Indian Ocean and Caribbean routes a package usually beats booking the flight and hotel separately, because the flights are contracted alongside the accommodation. On a European city break the gap is small either way.
- Can you book a flight for a holiday I have already arranged?
- Yes. Tell us the dates, the airports and the cabin, and we will price it.
- Is a flight-only booking financially protected?
- Not under ATOL, no — ATOL covers flight-inclusive packages. Paying by credit card gives you separate protection under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. If protection is the deciding factor, a package is the safer structure.
